BURGER

Nothing beats a good burger!This timeless classic is a sure-fire winner all over the world.
But did you know it originally come from Germany?




INGREDIENTS:                                              

500 g mince beef                                                
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped                            
flat- leaf parsley                                                                      
1 egg, beaten                                                        
olive oil                                                              
25 g fresh breadcrumbs                                       
sea salt(freshly ground)
pepper(freshly ground)

ACCOMPANIMENTS:
 burger buns,halved
 lettuce leaves
4 slices of red onion
4 slices of red pepper   
2 gherkins, sliced
BBQ sauce

1.Preheat the grill or barbecue.(medium heat)

2.Place the mince, garlic,parsley,egg,breadcrumbs in one bowl and mix together.Season with salt and pepper.Divide the mixture into 4 balls.Then flatten into patties.Rub a little olive oil over the burgers and cook them over a medium heat for 5-6 minutes each side, until cooked through.(Alternatively cook them on a frying pan using a little bit more oil).

3.Meanwhile griddle the rolls on the cut sides(or put them in the preheated oven cut sides up for around 4 minutes until crispy).

4.Place lettuce leaf/leaves at the bottom of each burger bun.Top each with slice of red onion,slice of red pepper, and cooked burger.Place few gherkin slices on top of each burger, along with dollop of BBQ sauce.Put on the top halves of the buns and serve.
